Tiger Moth - Trial Flights
 A joy flight in a Tiger Moth is one of the most thrilling experiences you can find, particularly as you could be flying the aircraft! Soar through the lovely Kent skies in a classic British biplane from the 1930’s the golden age of flying. This was the aircraft that Spitfire pilots first learnt to fly.
Flights are undertaken from Headcorn, Kent with a Qualified Flying Instructor and will last between 20 to 40 minutes. The Tiger Club has Gift Vouchers available, which make a flight an ideal birthday, anniversary or Christmas gift. Please bring your family and friends along on the day to enjoy the experience with you.

You will fly with an experienced instructor who will brief you on how the aircraft flies. The aircraft has dual controls and you can be safe in the knowledge that you will have an expert teacher. If you still have doubts, simply sit back and enjoy the view!
The Tiger Club will provide you with a flying helmet, please bring along warm clothing.

Do you want the ultimate high of experiencing a loop the loop? Then an aerobatic trial flight is the challenge you want to experience! A 20 minute flight in our modern aerobatic CAP10 aircraft is available. You will be able to experience loops, rolls, stall turns and other manoeuvres during a flight from Headcorn, depending upon circumstances the flight could be over the airfield so your friends and family can enjoy the experience as well.  The opportunity to fly in a World War II Advanced Trainer
After starting on a Tiger Moth a RAF pilot then went onto the Harvard before progressing to the Spitfire or the Mustang.
This is your chance to experience what it was like to be in an aircraft over Kent that flew during WWII. You will be able to experience loops and rolls during a flight from Headcorn, depending upon circumstances the flight could be over the airfield, so your friends and family can enjoy the experience as well. On the day
- Contact the Club in the morning to check the weather is OK
- Arrive at Headcorn and sign in at the Tiger Club Clubhouse
- The Flying Instructor or Duty Pilot will take you through a pre-flight briefing
- The instructor will do a pre-flight check - just to make sure everything is running smoothly.
- Flight with instructor - this is exciting part and where you have the chance to take the controls and soar through the sky! Don't worry; the instructor will be right there with you.
- If the weather doesn't allow you to fly, the Trial Flight can be rebooked with us for no extra charge.
Please note
- Prolonged periods of inactivity, air pressure changes, G Pressure changes, turbulence, noise and light levels experienced during flights in light aircraft may affect certain medical conditions.
- Any trial lesson student or temporary passenger member that is in any doubt about the affect that flying or aerobatics may have on their health should seek medical advice.
